§ 134-376. Exemption of County utility systems.

This article does not apply to any utility facilities owned by the County. This article shall not prohibit or restrict in any manner the construction, operation or maintenance of a water or sewer (wastewater) system, bulk water system, or any combination thereof by the County, except in any geographic area for which an exclusive franchise certificate for that utility service has been granted to a utility under this article and the franchise certificate is active and valid.
