§ 2-886. Creation and purpose of the Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee.
In cooperation with the City of Naples and the City of Marco Island, there is hereby created the Collier County Coastal Advisory Committee, hereinafter referred to as the "committee." The committee is created to assist the Board of County Commissioners with its establishment of unified beach erosion control and inlet management programs within the unincorporated and incorporated areas of the county, and to advise the Board of County Commissioners and the tourist development council (TDC) of project priorities with respect to funding sources that are available to the county for restoration and protection of its shoreline.
