§ 54-338. Enforcement and penalties.
(a)
Any person violating the provisions of this Ordinance or failing to comply with the requirements of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined or imprisoned, or both, as provided by law, and in addition shall pay all costs and expenses incurred in the prosecution of such violation.
(b)
In addition, and as an alternative means of enforcement, the County may enforce the provisions or requirements of this Ordinance by means of any civil remedy before the appropriate Code Enforcement Special Master or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
(c)
Except as otherwise provided by law or ordinance, a person convicted of a violation of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.00. With respect to violations of this Code that are continuous with respect to time, each day the violation continues is a separate offense.
(d)
All provisions of this Ordinance may be enforced by all authorized law enforcement officers, and all authorized County personnel.
