§ 94-86. Sale of tobacco, paraphernalia to minors.

  • (a)

    Definitions. The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this subsection, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    (1)

    Minors means and includes any natural person who has not attained the age of 18 years.

    (2)

    Person means and includes individuals, firms, associations, joint ventures, partnerships, estates, trusts, business trusts, syndicates, fiduciaries, corporations, and all other groups or combinations.

    (b)

    Prohibitions. No person shall sell, barter, furnish, or give away to any minor any cigarette, cigar, tobacco, tobacco product, cigarette wrapper, pipe or other smoking paraphernalia or any substitute for the foregoing.
