§ 262-487. Funds.

  • No funds of the district shall be used for any purpose other than the administration of the affairs and business of the district, the construction, care, maintenance, upkeep, operation, and repair of sewers and sewer and water systems in the district, as the board may determine to be for the best interest of the district and the inhabitants thereof. All disbursements of the funds of the district over the sum of $5,000.00 shall be made pursuant to warrants or checks signed by the chair or vice-chair and countersigned by the treasurer or the secretary of the board.
