§ 262-495. [Effective provisions.]

  • In accordance with the provisions of section 11(a)(21) of Article III of the State Constitution, if passed by at least three-fifths vote of the membership of each house, this Act shall take effect only upon its approval by a majority vote of those qualified electors voting in a referendum election to be called by the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, in accordance with the provisions of law relating to elections currently in force in Collier County; except that this section shall take effect upon becoming a law.
