§ 2-1032. Appointment and composition.

(a)

The development services advisory committee shall be composed of 15 members.

(b)

Members shall represent the various aspects of the development industry with one or more members from each of the following classifications: architect, general contractor, residential or builder contractor, environmentalist, land planner, land developer, landscape architect, professional engineer, utility contractor, plumbing contractor, electrical contractor, structural engineer, and attorney. In the event that members cannot be secured filling all the classifications listed above, other individuals may be considered.

(c)

Members of the committee shall serve at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners and shall be permanent residents and electors of the county.

(d)

Appointment of members to the committee shall be by resolution of the Board of County Commissioners and such resolution shall set forth the date of appointment and the term of office of each member.
